  2. I might be that too.

Why, even today I get tossed into Level five, Detention block AA-23 every once in a while. A guy can never get any rest there with all that racket going on down in the garbage mashers.

  4. Piacenza is supposed to be a copy of Colonia by Acqua di Parma. I've never had the real McCoy, but Piacenza stays near the top of the Max Headroom List of Most Glorious Stanks.

    Love the razor.
  5. Do you believe

Mostly the neighborhood people and theor kids showed up. It is the bad or rough side of town. All are welcomed and encouraged to come.
I haven't been to jail, addicted to anything, or in trouble of any sort. But that's my kind of place. People that I told them it would be great if they came always say they wouldn't fit in. Ha, there's more tattoos there on Sundays than a biker bar. Don't get me wrong, it's Pentecost, but the head guy lives it, and puts his money where his mouth is. Losta outreach, lotsa work being done.

    Thanks Joe

  6. It's like shopping for tires or a new modem/wifi. The terminology is ever evolving as the products and materials improve. "Hybrid"? Not battery fed, but auto & stem wound? I fired off an e-mail to Invicta since their online store search didn't acknowledge any left handed / destro options. With the stem on the left to be operated by left hand but worn on the right wrist, or as an option for right handed folks to wear on the left hand who don't want the stem to dig into the wrist. That company you recommended to Neal did have some destro style. Seems the right handed Russian divers don't want the crown catching on stuff. There's also a nice bronze Ratnik with a Make Offer option...

  9. August Adjustable - Jen's Choice

    RazoRock WTP Lime Burst SS
    Surrey / VDH boar brush
    Suribachi bowl & cool water
1959 Gillette Fat Boy on #9
    Gillette Silver Blue blade
    Pinaud Citrus Musk EDC
SOTD 08032019 Jenisis's Pick.gif Grand children returned from their visit to grandmother's house & Jenisis asked to choose my setup this evening. Soap was a no brainer - lime! Grabbed the old boar for both a well broken in scrub and the color of the handle. A short sousing to loosen up the hard Italian puck, and lather happened. Not sitting on the side lines, Jen asked to apply the lather. Three full passes, no special clean up fiddling, and she pronounced me smooth. Given a choice of Lime Sec or the other she chose and is also wearing Citrus Musk. She chose from two photos, assisted in photoshop options, and is watching me type up my report.

  16. Good Sunday morning!
Seeing as it's Sunday I grabbed my shavette and a slant and got to work.
Two passes with the focus and clean up on the chin, still having problems with the chin and the open blade. But getting better shaves with this little guy every time I try it out. My PAA slant loaded with a feather blade did its job as expected. Two passes with the open blade was plenty enough for most of the face with cleanup from my slant. One pass on the old gourd made things nice and smooth again. Decided to go with the Stirling, in case I over shaved, but the only place that happened was on the neck using my slant. I did okay with the open blade and should have left well enough alone and I know better. There is a little spot that'll be gone before I get in the car for church. Just a small place but there it is.
