SOTD August 5th Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap EDRIO#101 Schick Injector I2 Prototype Schick Proline B-20(5)/Personna(?) DSC Purple Haze (26mm, Frigate Class) Blackship Grooming Queen Anne's Revenge soap and AS Soused the already super soft Blackship Grooming soap and started off with a wetter brush then I normally do. Loaded for about 45 second and then took the brush to the bowl. Almost instantly I was working with a bowl full of very peaky lather. Added a little more water until those peaks were falling over on themselves and I had a good sheen to the lather. My shave started off a little rough so I decided to ditch the Proline and load a previously used Personna blade into the prototype Injector, much better! The passes after the switch were smooth and comfortable and I ended up catching the baby! A splash of the alcohol based AS did give me a bit of a sting before the touch of menthol in it cooled things down nicely. Great shave to start the week off, have a great day my friends!
