Terrific Tuesday This was my first use of my new Lutin Chubby Lightning brush. It is very well balanced and gorgeous. It was also my first go with Oleo Wayoh - I'm a sucker for Spicebomb type scents, and this one does not disappoint. The lather was thick and slick and easily made. The scent is not over done, but certainly enjoyable. I made three passes with the Vision and got a very close shave. The splash has more of an alcohol punch than some, and less glycerine, but it left my skin feeling great and smelling amazing. #LutinBrushworks #OleoSoapworks

Tuesday's Shave Cold Water Rinse LaToja Shaving Stick Jayaruh #296 Brush Dollar Tree Assured Assured DE Blade CWR Granddad's Blend I put a different Assured blade in the razor today, and I got great results. My prep was just a cold water rinse. The LaToja Shaving Stick face lathered well with the Jayaruh #296 Brush. I did two passes with the Dollar Tree Assured razor with a Assured DE Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Granddad's Blend AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Tuesday morning: Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Wilkinson day 2 Rondavel Wild Dagga SS Fino ASB Proraso Red AS Splash These Wilkinson blades are terrific, IMHO. They’re very sharp, smooth, as well as very forgiving, at least when they’re used with my Super Speed. The Wild Dagga soap from Rondavel has a nice outdoorsy scent which I like, it lathers like a maniac, but it lacks cushion - and it’s also not quite as skin friendly as my other South African soaps, but overall it’s still pretty good. The Fino balm took good care of my postshave needs, and the Proraso Red aftershave feels great and smells beautiful - even the wife likes the scent on me. Two passes gave me a great BBS, and so easily!

2019-08-06, Tuesday Gave a chance to this soap: it left me unsatisfied, last time I used it. Grated some more on my face and this time it has been pleasant: nice lather and texture. And the fragrance! Sublime to my nostrils! Sapone PS: Valobra Glicerolanolina Sapone: 4711 Pennello: Lab. Yes I did. One of those purchases that was an honest miss by the seller, but gave me a chance to have some fun. Learned a lot when I shortened this one. Tom
Weber DLC razor Gillette Silver Blue blade Vie-Long Silver Tip brush Viking "Citron" Shave Soap Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Viking "Citron" balm I had heard great things about Viking products and, after a 1st use, the kudos appear deserved. Easy to lather, really nice skincare which made for a really nice shave. The Balm is very soothing and enjoyable also. All in all, a topnotch first use. I'll use it the rest of the week just to be sure. My face is very very happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.
Needed something quick today but wanted to try Southern Witchcrafts Peach which is a new one that arrived with a bunch of Stirling soaps. The scent is Peach but with a very subdued dirt like mix to it. Not a super sweet peach scent but a different take and quite nice. All vegan and a very slick soap, not too thirsty. Great cushion and a pleasure to use. Razor of the day was the Merkur 45 which is a a great little razor which compared to the Mergress earlier in the week, feels like a toothpick in hand. Light. Still a great razor. Loaded up with a Gillette Wilkinson Sword and went to work. Lovely two pass DFS and ready to start the day and the chores. Have a lovely week all!
