The creams seem to last forever. I have a Speick tube that I’ve used about 20 times, but it looks like I haven’t used it at all. Thanks, Joe!
I have no idea what you might be talking about.... I got my eye on blooming trouble makers like you though.
So, what was the podcast about? Back in the day, did you do college radio or a professional gig? In my undergrad days, I did a stint as News Director of my college station (WMCX 88.1 FM, a old-school local station whose signal started to fade once you left the parking lot).
Tomorrow is Williams Wednesday you know. The ARKO will not mind the break. I will be using vintage (non bloomed and face lathered like Gawd intended) and a Schick adjustable. Alllllllll aboard the Williams train!!!
Running late this morning, so no shave. On a different note, last night, I came to the realization that I have watched too many HGTV shows. I started working on repairing a doll house which my father-in-law had built and which all but collapsed when we moved it from their home. I was looking at the bare first floor and found myself wondering if I should put the internal walls back up or make some kind of arch to open up the floor plan.
I started in college. Probably the same transmitter you used, although we could make the next parking lot over with the wind. I also did professional radio for about 7 years total. I had a bad habit of getting asked to modify my approach to humor which would end up with another request to perform my art somewhere else. I got my start the same year Howard Stern did. Liked the same kind of approach. Just wasn't in a big enough market to find the permanent gig. Plus I drank myself to oblivion for a couple of years. Oh to be young and dumb again. I was out for quite awhile then went back part time and helped program a station up in Nebraska for a bit. Then left the world of microphones behind. As for the podcast yesterday - the interviewer is a Marriage and Family Therapist and also a Sex Therapist. The topic of the day was a discussion of monogamy and non-monogamy and other non-traditional lifestyles.
