Your @Primotenore remix....this had potential, but I was merciful. Noble Otter Noble....and it's quite an unusual cacophony of scents. ...hay! The base is excellent, would be perfect, if the girth of the handle was slightly larger. This wasn't so good. I was left with two weepers, one up by my cheek and the other just above my jaw. Cleaned it and called it quits. Bleeding was strange. User error most likely. I can't get over how wonderful —first massaged in, second patted on.
I enjoy a hay scent. My favorite pipe tobacco is Orlik Golden Sliced, its predominant notes are hay and citrus.
Thank you Jim, Gary, Clint, & Joseph! Thanks Charlie! With school starting soon, it was an eventuality. On the up side, yup, glad the kids are home, underfoot, creating mounds of laundry and dirty dishes. My days were getting long and boring only cleaning up after daughter & myself.
Sitting here letting my feet and legs and back..... get feeling better from sanding a floor for the last few hours. This morning's shave was great. 2 passes with 2 Feather blades, one for each pass on the face. Then the head shave with those blades as well. Using my newly aquried VIKINGS BLADE - Crusader Adjustable Razor was close and comfortable. This tool doesn't have any numbers for adjustment, but I run them wide open anyway, so I have no problem there. It's a heavy razor, but the handel is long. The long handle helps ballance out the head for shaving the gord. I am not normally a fan of heavy razors, but the long handle makes it more likable to me. Now if I only shaved the mug a heavy razor is fine. Gonna have to drive this one around for a few days just to see how it handles. So far so good. Arko in the mug made for a great lather with #48 brush. And a little cooling love from Stirling Soap Co. Well I think I can get going again. To all Enjoy tp
Trust me I can understand. After a series of abdominal surgeries, I dealt with daily chronic pain for over 15 years. At times the pain was almost unbearable at times. One of the doctors was finally able to give me some relieve last year with a non narcotic prescription. What used to be a good day with pain on a 6-7/10 is now non existent most days. So hang in there and keeping working with the doctors. Maybe they will come up with something that works for your.
FTFY Paul! Yup, it was a simpler more wholesome time . Gotta be careful which Beatles tune you are humming... Situational Awareness.
OK, since no one asked what happened, let me tell you: First, my friend and I were seated amongst some "serious elders". As the game progressed suddenly my friend yelled out "BINGO-oh, wait a minute, forget it". That is a DEFINITE no-no in Bingo! It was an honest mistake on his part-he thought he won. I think the whole hall was mad at us. The second time, another friend and I came in late, got our cards and chips, and found no spot to sit. What did we do. We dragged a small table over into the crowd, and of course the noise blew up the current game! Again the whole hall was mad at us. But at other times, I behaved properly. Great game...fun. Too much cigarette smoke, though. Pipes would be better(would remind me of my Dad).
Hay?? Really Chris? Fresh cut, sun dried, or barn stacked? Nice shave though. Weepers, it happens. tp
Thanks Charlie! I do prefer the more understated looks of the Invicta done in the Rolls diver style. A Seiko wind up movement ought to be durable and reliable. The coin edge bezel is one of those little extras that might make the difference between like it and love it. I'm debating a leather strap versus the linked stainless steel. Guess I could shave my wrist to skip the hair pulling.
Thanks Clint Sometimes others choose less capable blades or smaller settings. I just do it up big. tp
