  1. Thank Joe!
Thanks Terry! I do have a local pharmacy that usually keeps Feathers & Astra SP's in stock, but was out last visit. It was still hot outside, but I've warned the grandkids I'll have to take them to the hospital for frostbite if they keep staring at the stuff in the freezer. It's not a TV, the picture doesn't change.
Thank Andrew, and thank you for the offer. I've yet to purchase my first 100 pack of DE blades. TSD members have been more than generous through PIF and Pass Around boxes. Latest haul was 5 tucks of Cartel Approved Voskhods so at my current usage I'm good until early January of 2020. That's not counting all the other tucks and singles blades, Chicks, or Feather AC's.
  2. I'll send some blades. PM me name and address. :happy088:

  3. You clearly have too much time on your hands, Chris! :) But, I am LOVING the attention :love055: and I am a huge Clapton fan. :git:
  4. Sounds interesting;

Egyptian Geranium, Egyptian Coriander, Marjoram, Cedarwood, Nutmeg, Patchouli, AtlasCedarwood.

Didn't you say grapefruit? I found it available through Top Of The Chain which means not (legally) shippable to CONUS.

  5. I've always admired his playing. His phrasing (chord/octave choice) and use of slow string bends is masterful. He and David Gilmour are the two best Englishmen ever to play the blues.
  6. Yes, please! A friend of mine I needs this for reasons.
    I thought that went
"If you use a feather it's kinky.
If you use the whole chicken it's perverted."

  8. If I ever order the Texas Leather, at The Soap Exchange, there should be a good hay scent-it's mainly Saddle Leather. Could be the same with Weekend Rodeo at Central Texas Soaps, which I WILL be ordering before long.

  9. @RyX, thank you for fixing Charlie's error by getting my name right!!! :). Just teasing Charlie, you know that. As for Paul and Neil playing together-I guess that song is more Neil's type. I hope Paul calmed the crowd down by following that with "I Saw Her Standing There" or another real early one.

  10. Uh, oh. This kind of off TSD website linking is what almost had me signing up at the Flashlight Forum. Those guys are obsessive and weird.

  14. I do get citrus. Maybe I think Grapefruit as it is a lesser ingredient:

It is also back in stock (with the others too) on the Maol website
  15. With the newly acquired Jedi status, The Cartel has ruled that the grade inflation felony be heretofore stricken from the record.

Congrats on approaching 100/100, Joe! It has been fun watching you succeed in reaching your goal! Most excellent!!!

  19. August 6

Z3 Gillette Flare Tip Super Speed
    Feather (2)

Rudy Vey Chubby handle w/Shavemac Two-band knot
    C.O. Bigelow
Alum, Thayers WH, USB & Clubman

I decided to run a Feather blade through my July setup before putting it away for Adjustable August. The Feather does a great job in the Flare Tip (near BBS in 2 passes), but Russian steel is definitely smoother. I'm determined to finish this bottle of Clubman! Believe it or not, this will be the first bottle of aftershave I've finished since my start with traditional shaving. I must be fairly light-handed with this juice compared to my esteemed and somewhat aromatic 30 DC colleagues.

I laid off the thread for a couple of days and found myself 700 posts behind. All caught up now. August has certainly started off with a bang. My money is on @RyX springing for an uber cool watch before @Paul Turner cuts loose on some Central Texas soaps and aftershaves. ;)

    Have a great evening, gentlemen!
  20. Nice shave Charlie!
