  7. No pictures this time, but we yesterday grilled t-bone steaks, Shishito peppers, garlic cloves, cabbage, carrots, and corn on the cob. To guard against running out of food, we had stir fry with squash and onions and sliced tomato. All the veggies except the corn came from the weekly allocation we receive from a local grower.

@NCoxSTL the only thing missing was Cartel World Headquarters BBQ and icy stares from Mrs. @Drygulch. We did have icy Russian tea, though.

Lest I forget, congrats to Mrs. Drygulch for winning the 2019 Kansas Triathlon. How she raced across the plains of Kansas on a single-speed bike in a long dress is still a mystery to me. Oh well, the terrain is flat. Needless to say, there's plenty of time on a long ride to perfect menacing facial expressions.

I told Mrs. Wristwatchb this morning that the Summer of 2019 will be remembered by the scent of BBQ (meetup and a blues/BBQ festival) and garlic. She was not greatly impressed. I was instructed to brush my teeth again and use extra mouthwash.

I am greatly impressed with the stories of kids riding in campers and especially the roof surfing. All I can say is that our cops weren't neighbors, but they seemed to hang out in the patrol car quite a lot in front of our house.

Another shave with the Slim is coming up. Wristwatchb to report back later. Have fun today and enjoy the Saturday cartoons, kids.

  8. I'm glad the ladies made it safely to Lexington, Clint. I helped my niece move in to her dorm at UK once. If you think there's drama and madness getting packed up, you should see the kids getting moved in.

I'm sure Maya will have another fantastic year at school. Mail the checks to the same address, please.
  9. I found that if I collected enough shave stuff, my wife would just give up on trying to mess with it.
  10. A scene from the movie Stripes with Bill Murray and John Candy... Don't try this at home.

  11. That's no big deal in Kentucky, Jim. Most wives here have a fork truck operator's license. And a concealed carry permit. :scared003:

Wow! It took me a long time to get caught up. My wife and I went to Houston for a night out last night, so I fell behind and had over a 100 posts try to go through. Simple shave this morning with a wonderful scent. I am about to head to meet my parents to get two of my kids, so we will be back to a full house. I hope everyone has a great day!

  19. Even with my food extravaganzas this week, I'm still under my weekly budget on calories. You can see where I clearly blew it on Thursday. It will take several days to recover from that day, but that's OK. I need to average a bit under budget to maintain my weight.

The cookout yesterday was reasonable on calories. I favored the veggies over the steak. There's some estimation involved here. For example, I had rib eye steak in my library, and I figured it was close enough to t-bone. I estimated all the measurements as well. I could have done without the second glass of sweet tea and a midnight snack (both included below). All things considered, I still did OK yesterday.

This probably seems nuts to those of you that have no trouble with their weight. I have poor judgment in this regard, so this app has been a useful tool for me.
