No, I only do it with Williams, but I wanted to see how it affects Stirling soaps. Sometimes, I like to think out of the box. Stirling soaps don't need to be bloomed overnight, but I did it anyway.
Similar here. House was built in '42. At some point shag carpet became the fashion. After the home was unoccupied by regular people for a dozen years, but served as a den for a cat that raised a couple litters, and homeless breakins, I restored it. Pulled that carpet and rediscovered the oak floors. They were in decent repair but for a little water damage by one window. When a house down the street was demolished I gathered enough identical replacement wood to fix it right up.
