This is the Geranium/Citrus tour-de-force bath/shave. This set smells amazing. Super fancy. This scent profile is one of the best "clean-pressed white shirt & tie" work smells. I suppose the Green-Lavender set has a somewhat similar 'clean' appeal. Before my wet-shaving/fragrance hobbies started in 2016 I would wake up grumpy, but now I actually like the mornings. It's like having a relaxing spa experience before the stress of the morning pounces on me.

And I just wanted to say that besides PAA, Dr. Jon's shaving soap is darn near as great a shaving soap as I've used. I discovered Dr. Jon's only fairly recently and I'm sold on that formula after just a few shaves. PAA & Dr. Jon's = top of not only vegetal soaps, and IMO, better than tallow/duck/insert-animal-fat soap. Some of us have skin that works best with vegetal soaps (I get skin reactions sometimes with animal-based soaps so I avoid them). I'm glad I still have plenty of options in a community that is crowded with animal-based shaving soaps. I'd like to see more dual-soap formula providers like WSP does (and WSP is a super-solid soap when I get it into a larger tub and can load it better and keep the water controlled).

 

Yeah, for real, right? That brush is a stand-out.

 

You should try Catie's Bubbles Le Piment de la Vie scented shaving cream. It goes ridiculously well with Eau de Baux.

Great Shave. I use my Straight Razor from Time to Time. But i have to be in mood for it. Today it was such a day.

Lathered up this wonderful soap and started shaving. It was a real pleasure but i stick with my trusted DE-Razors and my Feather Shavette.

I think i do not have to say much more about the rest of my Equipment.
