  1. Gee Randy, from the outside looking in I'd probably say that when Ice Cream Tycoons vacation 'incognito' during peak Ice Cream Season, work might just bury them when they come up for air.

    Be well!

    August 12 SOTD:

    Razor: Prime Med Prep
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft
    Lather: Speick Shave Stick
    Aftershave: Chatillon Lux Unconditional Surrender

I am going to have to take a break from the adjustables for a day or two, as I am waiting at the airport to catch a flight to Mexico City. It is a quick trip as I am there today and back tomorrow, so I am traveling light. This razor lets me carry on, so it got the call this morning. Two passes at the gym for a near DFS. These razors work just fine, but they are not near as smooth as one of my normal razors. The Speick always works well, and a little CL Unconditional Surrender has me smelling good. Hopefully, my neighbors on the flight think so as well. I hope everyone has a great day!

  14. Great shave Neal!
Awesome photo Mark! And a beautiful brush!
    Beautiful shot Jim!
Great shave Terry! When you find the sweet spot with the PAL Adjustable she will turn into "The shy girl" and will whisper sweet nothings into your ear as you shave.
Awesome shot Perry! Time to put the nail in the coffin on that soap!
Beautiful photo and great shave Clint!
    Great shave Gary!
Very cool Jim! I hope the traveling isn't too draining.

RazoRock WTP Blue Barbershop soap and AS

Ah the Nanjie TTO. The razor that proves TTT and that quality control is overrated. This was the famous bait and switch razor that was supposed to be a Merkur Futur clone sold by Uncle-Ding. This razor makes the dollar store Assured razor seem well made. All of the stamped metal parts are so thin that if you overtightened the TTO knob you may bend something. The guard bar is wavy and the blade exposure is inconsistent. what more could you ask for in a razor (I have two more of these razors if anyone wants to test their skill)? Made a very wet slick lather from the (bloomed and bowl lathered) RazoRock WTP Blue Barbershop:

Painted the lather on and went to work. Really focused on angle and pressure as well as skin stretching. No drama! Three passes brought home the baby! This is was one of the closest shaves I've had in a while, a full on BBS. The Shark Platinum is showing no signs of quitting so I'll keep rolling with it. Have a great day my friends!

Pulled out the Jack Frost for Menthol Monday earlier this morning. Went back to the adjustable for focus reasons and also realized I hadn't grabbed the original 30DC LE in quite some time either. I hadn't shaved since Friday, but had a super close 3 pass'er today. I opened the birth year Black Beauty up to 9 with a fresh, awesome Wizamet and I am completely smooth. A little rawness on the neck, but great results.
    Have a great day, all!
