Wednesday Shave: I think this Dorko looks cool and I like the way it handles. It still has the factory grind but its about time for a refresh. The Electric Sheep continues to move up in my esteem plus it seems to have just the right amount of cooling for a straight shave, plus the citronella brings back happy bug-free memories. Results.... epic. Great minds think alike, today's watch is a homage to Charlies' watch..... actually, Charlie did a great job of subtle enabling.... so thanks to Charlie this cool watch is now on my wrist.
My pleasure, just passing the Dark Side skills along like those before me. Sadly the G5 is still in the shop, I think the delay is because of the soda machine Chris @Bama Samurai requested. Glad it is not serious, I hope she makes a quick recovery.
When I traveled, not being around at those times I felt I should have been, was the worst part. I pray things work out for the best.
My wife gets a kick out of doing my ears and eye brows with the tweezers I think she love seeing me wince and shy away Any one want some arko I got a bit of a stock pile it won't bite" he he he" Only joking Paul
Yep, the chin is where it goes south. I get it nice and smooth, but it is bulky round those parts. tp
August 14th Razor: Gillette Slim L1 Blade: Treet Platinum Stainless (2) Brush: Grizzly Bay FireOfUdun Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated Soap: B&M Reserve Classic PAA Galactic witch hazel PAA unscented Star Jelly AS: B&M Reserve Classic Adjustable August Good morning! Excellent shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS with a whisper from the alum. I've decided I'm a fan of the Treet Platinum blades. Plenty sharp and extremely smooth. I see my blade inventory growing yet again. Have a great day! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Wednesday morning, hope all are doing well. I tried what Andrew @Linuxguile suggested and used the other setting H. Well after going through the first pass I can honestly say, I can't tell the difference. Seems to feel and cut the same as on the setting L. Well I'm not sure what setting is for what, but it made no difference here. Same setup as yesterday's, but a different brush. The same 2 passes on the face with a pass on the neck to get it clean and smooth. The head shave got 2 passes and the same outcome. If you were wondering I used a new blade today too, I always use a new blade. I still say my skin and whiskers say this is in the mild class of razors. Nothing bad about it, just mild. Enjoy tp
