Wonderful shave, with an American Made Razor. I had a very smoooooth 2 pass shave, no touch ups, that left me BBS. Zero issues. Excellent made razor. A Geneva was one of the first vintage razors I bought and remains a favorite. They are truly great blades.

Back to big, near 8/8 Heljestrand No140 in ivory and half of a black-and-white pair. Post-war razor but unlike many, as impeccably ground as it’s pre-war siblings. Soap was I Coloniali Mango lathered with a M&F Alibaba Finest. A dab of IC balm finished up a BDBS shave.

7/8 Koraat 3/4 grind The last time I honed this edge was below standard so last night it went back on the stones: Shapton Glass progression 4k,8,k, 16k then CrOx, diamond 50k,100k. This time I got it right, not 100% satisfied but today's shave delivered excellent results. I would say 95% satisfied.
