The owners of the my childhood house haven't returned my letter yet asking if I could see the house and meet the owners. Perhaps they're on a loooooooooooong summer vacation. I hope they didn't just flip it into the trash, thinking I'm a telemarketer. But what telemarketer puts his own personal return address label on an envelope-and one with an animal to boot?

Rick, the pizza we ate in Italy (several different places) is very similar to what you described. I remember veggies on the pizza, but no meat. It was OK, but I'm in the ugly American camp. I prefer the style of pizza served most often served 'round these parts.
