Got home last night after 6 days away. 3 nights at meetings and then 2 nights in suburban Calgary for a tournament with our kids. Zero chance to keep up with the thread for the past few days so I think I'll just pick it up from here.
I'm going to run with this soap on Menthol Mondays until it is done. The donut hole on the bottom is about the size of a quarter, but it is probably my softest soap, so I am anticipating actually finishing this one...
I hadn't shaved since Friday, but did have one shaving related story from the weekend. We were in a mall in Calgary and there was a men's accessories store. I wandered in as I could see some wetshaving supplies. Some of the usual modern software and hardware choices were on display (BTW-Henri et Victoria Duc de Santal smells fantastic, but is quite soft for a triple milled soap, fwiw). What I did find interesting were the 3 blade tucks available- Nacets, 7 O'clock greens and Feathers. Someone there knows their stuff for sure.
For no particular reason I thought the Goodwill was the choice this morning. No idea what blade is in it, but it definitely worked and I am completely smooth after 3 passes. A super way to start the day.
Have a great day, all!
