    Great looking shave and photo Blair. Great work on transplanting the knots. You try soaking the Zenith knot in Oxyclean. That might help with the copper stain. Many times I have been able to remove the glue with my finger nail by scrapping from the handle towards the tips.

    I Coloniali~~Simpson KH4~~1958 D3 Adjustable (9)~~Personna 74~~Aqua Velva
    Back to the adjustable August theme with the Fatboy.
    Electrician here installing a transfer box. Main off. Cold Water shave.
    Was just getting prepared to shave, when they showed up. I had put some water in the
    I Coloniali, with the intention of not a true bloom, but this soap is extra hard, so just a wetting.
    90 minutes later I get back to the shave and that, even for me, was a VERY long bloom.
    However, the well-soaked Keyhole really picked up some juicy/shiny product
    and even with cold water, I had some magnificent lather.
    Fatboy (9) loaded with...you guessed it, the veteran Person 74.
    BBS without a single issue.
    Even the cold water didn't bother me...indeed, it was rather refreshing.
    Double splash of the AV and called it a uber-successful shave.    ​
