13/16 Shell 92 Silver Steel, one of the favorites in the rotation, takes a superb edge and always a pleasure to shave with. I suspect it’s a Tanifuji-made razor, according to Fikira’s blog, there could have been a connection between ‘Perfectworks’ (obverse tang stamp) and Tanifuji. Cream was ABC lathered with a M&F Alibaba Finest, and a dab of ABC almond balm completed a ‘Perfectworks’ 10/10 shave.
Today's shave was perfect. I had a very smooth, 2 pass shave, needing no touch ups, that left me BDBS. The ATG pass was just as smooth as the WTG pass. Absolutely perfect shaver. If I had not mentioned this before, F.W.Engels Razors are some of my favorites. If you don't have one, with very little wear on the blade, get one. You will not be disappointed. Razor- F.W.Engels "ARGO Steel". Solingen Germany. Brush- JR#262. WD Badger. Soap- ARKO stick. Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Mmmmm Mmmmm Good.
5/8 C.F Schwartz & Co High Class Had a very nice shave with this Solingen blade. But she needs to go back to the J-Nat for a little more work.Love the detailed spine work and balance of this blade.I will also clean her up a bit more.

Friday night with the kanto Riki folding kamisori. Omega 48 boar and omega soap. Late Sunday night with another folding kamisori, c&e soap and super badger brush. This morning with an ivory le grelot dr Harris Marlborough and Rooney stubby.
I own two Gifrettos from ML. They are both inox steel. They take and hold a fantastic edge and are a pleasure to shave with. I can't speak to his custom razors but the Giffretto is an excellent razor.
That French Point thread got the juices flowing... and out came the Puma 18. A little over 7/8 and a pleasure to use. Enjoy your shave. Tom
