August Focus Seaforth!~~Simpson B "Major"~~1941 Gillette Ranger Tech~~Personna 74~~Seaforth! Spiced Lime This gear seemed appropriately matched. They just seem to scream mid-twentieth century. Logically I know that’s not the case, however it’s my story and I am sticking to it. You will notice the full bottle of Seaforth! Spiced Lime aftershave. Yes, I have the original box too. This was stumbled upon by me the other day on eBay and I had the winning bid. No sniping needed. Good price as well. At first sniff this juice is eerily similar to Shulton Old Spice Lime. More later. The Seaforth! Soap lathered up magnificently with the 20mm Super Badger Major. Naturally, one does not use the case as seen in the photograph as part of the handle. That is for storage only. The actual handle is much smaller. The knot has a surprising amount of backbone, with zero scritch. I have this brush for sale, but I might just have to keep it. It makes a much better travel brush than the Wee Scot. The Personna 74, loaded into the Ranger Tech, continues to amaze. Super-smooth, buffable and efficient. Results were a true BBS. Now to the aftershave. My first impression was correct. This juice bears a remarkable resemblance to the Shulton OS Lime. That, btw, is mos def© a good thing. Medium sting...maximum good smell.
Razor: Christopher Bradley Karve w/D plate Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (5) Brush: Desert Ironwood Beehive w/Sunrise Synthetic Soap: Moon Soaps Old School Cologne: Folsom & Co. Shambala Aftershave Bowl: Fendrihan Apothecary Shave Mug Entered a picture in a contest that needed to include a Karve razor. Great shave with this razor. I find with the 3 inch handle it is perfectly balanced. That makes the shave much more enjoyable. IMO This brush is incredible! The soap is good. I need more time to work with it. Shambala is one of my favorites! That's all folks.
