Well worth it. I'm not trying to enable anyone but I'm loving mine and I'd highly recommend trying it .Very very aggressive razor if thats up your alley.
Still playing catch up. This is comparable to trying to read a 2000 page Stephen King book in 2 days . Both are just as captivating I might add. Now onto the shaves . Very very nice reports gents . Enjoyed the pics too.
Thanks Terry! Proraso is such a good product. It is easy to lather and it is slick. When my soap supply dwindles, I am more apt to try Stirling mentholated soaps, maybe go full throttle and go glacial.
Charlie @wristwatchb these pictures are for you. Pictures of my auto Androids and a picture af my Adee Kay auto.
As much as I sing the praises of my Dovo Shavette, I prefer my traditional straight razors. First, I like stropping my straights before each shave. Second, I like diagnosing what is needed to maintain each razor such as Croxing, barber honing or lapping film honing. Third, my straight collection is diverse in vintage, modern, width, and toe points so that I am not bored. Also, every straight shaves differently for me because of these differences. All in all, I will never let go of my shavette, but my preference will be traditional straights.
