  6. Thanks, Andrew! As I am maturing in wet shaving, I realize that I have to make judgement calls on what shave is best pursuant to the condition of a blade. I am going to the movies tonight with some friends so I didn't need a BBS and I didn't want to change the blade to get one.

    August 23 SOTD:

    Razor: Gillette Fatboy
    Blade: Gillette Nacet
    Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket
    Lather: PAA Kiritimati
    Aftershave: PAA Kiritimati

It has been a whirlwind of a day. Really like that for a couple of days. I am way behind and won't catch up anytime soon, but it looks like some great shaves, gentlemen. I hope everyone has been doing well.

We went to Houston yesterday afternoon and got home late, so no gym this morning. Instead, I pulled out some PAA Kiritimati, which is a Bay Rum with Frankincense and Myrrh. It is a great scent, IMO and made for a good start to hectic and stressful day.

I mentioned a while back I had some news, and I can officially share it now. I have accepted a new job with a different company. Everything become final, so today I had to tell my current employer and coworkers. The team I work with is one of the best I have been affiliated with, so there have been some tough conversations. The next two weeks should be interesting. I am excited about this new opportunity, but leaving the people and community we live in will be tough. I also may be a bit less active for a while.
  10. Congratulations, Jim!

Second shave with the Rex today and it was a little rough, the alum gave me some good feedback. Still impressed with the results this razor gives after a 2 pass DFS.
I'm still learning the proper angle and what not. After a few more shaves I'm sure I'll have mastered it!

As for MWF, it's the first soap I've ever purchased and remains my favorite of them all.

    Happy shaving everyone!
  20. Congrats on a beautiful razor and welcome to the crew! My Rex will come out to play next week. What setting are you using it on?
