Another great shave and photo Joseph. Your subtle enabling worked. I just placed an order for Mike's Bay Rum refill and Mike's Lavender Shave Stick.
August 24, 2019 Wolfman WR1 OC (0.63 mm) Gillette 7 o’clock Yellow Rubberset 400 #3 with WSP HMW Speick Shave Cream Myrsol Agua Balsamica I managed to get some much needed rest and slept in this morning. I spent the morning relaxing and drinking coffee. At last a nice relaxed shave was in order. The big 400 whipped up the Speick cream into a rich slick lather with the herbal scent filling the room. Three passes, touch ups and buffing my neck caught the baby with ease. I am looking forward to continuing the relaxing theme for the remainder of the day. I think I will cook a chicken tagine for dinner this evening. I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday.
That's the good thing about lime EO. I don't react negatively to it and it fades quickly. I know there's the increased sensitivity to skin damage when wearing it. Thank you Clint, Jim, & Doug! That ought to fix most any problems except the goat brain jerky. We're on the same page there Paul. Cloviness is why I don't do the bat rums. Good news is there's more for everyone else.
Could be why I prefer bowl lathering - I can stir up plenty even more than I need for my shave, and it's all the same consistency. After I load my damp brush, agitate and get the thick pasty soap into the bowl - the brush is holding the same wetness as whatever lather is in the bowl. A 30 Day Rule or Focus differs in choice of gear. The Rule assumes the gear isn't defective and should you chose, you work it and develop the technique to get good service. Maybe you are seeking to Focus - introduce variables in a controlled fashion. That lets you evaluate the differences in hardware or software. OK, so the brush is a go. Keep the soap, but load more for your 3rd pass. Want to switch razors or blades? It's all you. We're just here to cheer you on, coach you on improving your game, and act like a bunch of circus clowns when no one is hacking themselves with new gear.
Well, I got through yesterday’s posts at least. My apologies for not responding properly, but: @Norcalnewb - Huge news, Jim. I trust it will go well, good things happen to good people. @Linuxguile - Congrats on finishing EDRIO (and TGIF)! We made it, @clint64... I’ll try to get some of today’s reading done later. Just the usual lake set up for me today. Have a great day, all!
change to something that you know works and slide the new/unknown product/brush in one at a time .that has either helped me dial in said product or weed out the bad one..worked for me..
"mrchick was last seen: [On Tapatalk]Viewing thread, 39 minutes ago" He lurking, a good sign. Jared ? "@PickledNorthern was last seen:Feb 23, 2019 " I have no other info there. Help? Very much! I haven't felt the overwhelming urge to google more watch reviews, stats, and BST pages until seeing your post today. The Vostok doesn't see much use - any particular reason? I like the overall style of both of yours. Divers are my main search focus. Stainless steel polished to matte over any other finishes or metals. I like the looks of a stark white face, Arabic numbers all the way around except for a date window. Thinking either stem wind or auto but for sure mechanical over battery. Having 300meter depth water resistance isn't needed. I'd rather for sure water proof in general daily activities at less than 20 meters. Several brands besides Casio and Vostok keep getting bookmarked; several iterations of Swiss Army, Nixon, Citizen, Invicta come to mind. I've enve dropped several into "shopping carts", but haven't swiped the card. It's overwhelming to see the variety of new, used, and vintage pieces available.
