I got to drunk last night ( as I have the day of today) walked out the back for some fresh air and fell over the dog
Up early to avoid the predicted volcanic heat index today to install an electronic ignition in my TR6. Worked from 5:00 AM to 7:00. Then made coffee and breakfast for the child bride (she’s 61, our joke). Gary could probably have completed the ignition job in 30 minutes. I’ve learned a lot working on that car. Replaced the Lukas wire harnesss with Bosch during a frameoff restoration 5 years ago. Fortunately, my neighbor is a retired master bus mechanic. I would have been lost without his know-how.
I bought my wife a new Bosch Dishwasher. You know how many razors I could buy, for the price of one of those things??? What's so hard about washing dishes by hand, anyway???
Taking care of girlfriend who just had cataract surgery. Drops several times a day. I do lifting and driving and cooking. Now getting plastic eye patch ready with some elastic. ( making much needed " brownie points!") (Since she is a nursing instructor , I rarely get to take care of HER!) And: "What goes around, Comes around!"
Nothing really. And it only takes a few minutes. Don't forget the well known fact that no husband has ever been shot while washing dishes.
I upgraded the electrical service to my garage yesterday. This afternoon I'll be planning and running some new outlets and lighting.
I usually end up washing most things by hand anyway. She hates it. She will load the dishwasher, and not start it, until it is fully loaded. By that time, we are out of silverware, and bowls. I guess I can't complain, the dishwasher lasted 15 years, and sprung a small leak in the drain hose. That was all the excuse she needed to find one that matched her new color scheme.
