Aug 26 Good evening gentlemen! Shavette shave #100 Dovo Shavette Polsilver 1/2 DE Blade (2) Stirling Boar Brush Stirling Bay Rum SS and AS I didn't bloom the soap this time, I just wet the tips and achieved the standard, awesome lather I would expect from this soap. Did my 2.5 passes with minor touchups to get a IBBS+ shave. I reopened a tiny weep, but that was it. This was a nice, comfortable, irritation free shave. I now officially have 100 traditional straight razor shaves and 100 shavette shaves that total 200 open blade shaves. I joined 30DC on Dec 21 2018 and had approximately 50 open bladed shaves. You have been with me for the following 150 and I thank you all for your encouragement during this journey. Tomorrow night will have my celebratory steak dinner with ice cream. I will share some of the things that I have learned during this 200 shave journey, tomorrow. Have a pleasant evening guys!
Adjustable Arko August!! August 26 Razor - Schick Type M Injector Blade - Soap - Arko Brush - Semogue 1305 Post - Alum Monday is in the books. Done. Gone. Finished it up with another run of the Schick Type M. The Semogue 1305 is getting better as I go. Definitely making better, thicker lather now and it feels great. Definitely a great little boar. I think it will compare quite favorably to the Omega 10060 in performance. Definitely in that size class. Three good passes of lather from the brush for the single edge razor to do its magic and it's a great finish to a long day. Ok. We can move on to Tuesday now. Have a great one!
