I know it’s basically a wife’s tale but it makes my wife happy. My guess it was stress related. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thank you for the kind words, Andrew! There were more things that I could have added, but I didn't want to make it a dissertation. I still consider myself a relative newbie in the straight world and by sharing my thoughts would demystify the art of straight razor shaving.
Mmmmmnnn....what made me purchase it the first time or the third time? I have always been a patchouli fan. So, naturally, I was interested in soaps with that scent. One was Marrakesh by MW. Sold it. Mama Bear's, sold it. Stirling Glastonbury (first and second time), just couldn't wrap my nose around it. Too many users enjoyed the soap. The risk of it never being offered again. These were the reasons for purchase #3. This time it seems different; better, not as harsh, more refined. The scent sticks around for me during the shave. Not hugely, but it's there. The AS really hammers the point home.
Thanks, Perry. There's definitely a breaking point to all soaps and I came seriously close this morning.
Thanks, Jason. I figure if Dr. Mrs. Primo can give me a multitude of chances, I can give Stirling three.
Thanks, Clint. Dr. Mrs. Primo has it, as do all of her sisters. We just had this conversation the other day and she, as a medical professional, set me straight.
SOTD Monday August 26th Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap Rex Ambassador(4) Shark Platinum (10) Yaqi Ruby Red (24mm, Frigate Class) Arko Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill PSB Yesterday we took the boys to the State Fair. Shaved in the morning but didn't have time to post. Wonderful outing with the Rex and Arko. The blade started to feel a little rough on the last pass and may be just about done. Three passes for a DFS. Finished with some Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill PSB to combat the slight drying effect that can be had with Arko. Hot day at the fair but the boys had a lot of fun and were quite tired by the end of the day. Have a great day my friends! Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Great shave and pic of the boys, Andrew. Those Radio Flyers look a lot different than back in the day!
