  3. I am starting to see why Charlie is called "Danger". Between shaving goods, watches, flashlights, and knives, he presents a clear and present danger to your wallet and marriage.

  5. Im not quite sure about the crystal. I do know it glows after it's turned off, not a good thing tactically. The web site touts waterproof, and 2000 lumens. I've have it 9months still batteries are going. It takes 9 AA batteries. Im gonna let batteries plus change them when needed. Maybe sooner with Dorian looking this way.

  11. Carpano will transform your Manhattan from mundane to Marvelous. Try to drink the vermouths you mentioned straight. Impossible. The Carpano is so delicious you will NEVER purchase the others again.

  13. For me, the constant lifting, changing directions, changing hands was a recipe for disaster. This technique is so intuitive. I am working up the nerve to attempt a bevel reset starting with my Naniwa 1K. Haven't decided which razor will be the "sacrificial lamb".

  19. SOTD August 28, 2019

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: vintage Personna Ultra Chrome
    Razor: Schick I1
    Brush: Artisan badger
    Soap: RazoRock Blue Barbershop
Post: Witch hazel, RazoRock Blue Barbershop aftershave

Good shave this morning. This blade is on its last legs, so not as comfortable as most injector shaves. Good results in the end though.

    Have a great day!

  20. Thanks for the photo. Now that I see the bottle I believe that's available at Whole Foods here in town. I'll go check it out.
