  1. It's definitely less humid today. Sunny, also. Been dreary and rainy the past two days.

    Thank you, Jason! I really like those twin blades that @Screwtape graciously sent us. I've tried them in the Schick L but haven't ventured to other razors. I should do that.

    Another nice shave with the Rex and Arko this morning. As I suspected the Shark was done. I lathered up the Arko in the Dry Dock lather bowl and added water until it was sloshy. I painted on the lather and went to work. I really focused on angle and no pressure but the blade still felt a little tuggy and rough. I did finish all three passes with the blade and ended up with a DFS but it was not comfortable in use. Finished with a splash of Amici for a fantastic spicy grapefruit finish. Have a great day my friends!

    Hump day!

  11. Awesome shave Andrew and how too well do I remember those high chair days! Very funny from my perspective but not for the one that has to clean the mess up. Take care!

  14. To the Bama crew:

    @Hembree
    @PLAla

    I'm in CO finalizing the move of physical goods. Heading down this weekend. I'm doing OK, not exactly having the time of my life, but it will be alright. I'm going to stay with my parents for 2-4 weeks as I find my new home, plan on getting a place ~1 October in the Huntsville area.

    Despite all the conflict that a marriage breakup entails, I hold no malice or larceny in my heart, and refuse to badmouth anyone. The only common thread in my problems is me. Revenge and justice is dispensed by the heavenly Father, it's not mine to deliver. Revenge is about unhealthy pride anyhow, and is akin to drinking poison and vainfully hoping it will kill my enemy.

    Am I a wounded tiger right now? Yeah.

    There are many things for me to fix in my life, and I want to be a better man than before when this is all over.

    I'm coming home soon.

    The Lord giveth, the Lord taketh away. All in His time.

  16. That brings me wayyyy back to my days when I was probably Declan's age, maybe closer to that of Logan. My "daddy" and I walked down to the corner store to get a Sunday paper and probably some other items. Just when we got there, a truck carrying duffnuts (donuts)among some other food, to be delivered to the store, had a bit of a "spill", which ended up doing just that to the duffnuts. A dog came by and "cleaned up the mess" right off the street. I guess the guy had to go back and tell the duffnut baker to bake some more. NBut seeing the dog eat them up was the funniest thing....even now I laugh recalling it.

  17. Great attitude Chris and If I can help in anyway let me know. I have a long weekend if you need help unloading. Heck, I'll even swing by and pick up Perry @PLAla.....I hear he has a strong back. ;) I love the comment about not bad mouthing anyone. My grandparents divorced long before I came on the scene. I never heard my grandfather say one bad word about my grandmother. I think back and have a lot of respect for him doing that. Now my grandmother was continually bad mouthing granddad till she died and had no reason to. Granddad was a good man. God Bless and take care!
