J1, Schick Proline B-20, shave 2. The J1 comes in 2 variants this one is being stamped Eversharp Schick and the other being stamped Schick Safety Razor. This razor is not the mild J injector, this one is the same shaver as an I2 or white handle I1 that is stamped Eversharp Schick. I also learned something about these razors with today's shave. I purposely tried to angle the head so I used the guard to stretch the skin while shaving. Once I got the angle locked in I have never experienced a safety razor with that much blade on the face. I might as well have been shaving with a straight razor with skin stretcher in front of it. Did it make the overall shave better I don't know but it certainly made it more aggressive. I had some serious feedback on alum block afterwards something I normally don't get with an I2 or equivalent when using a slightly steeper angle.
August 27, 2019 -- A very nice 3-pass shave!!! Prep: Cold water splash Blade: Modified GEM SS PTFE (de-spined and "ears" removed) Razor: AutoStrop (Type B2) Brush: Yaqi 24mm Moka Synth Soap: George F Trumper's Lime Cream Post: Thayers Rose Witch Hazel
Wed 28th August. Jayaruh Syn. No67 Williams Mug Soap Schick Type F Schick "Chick" [ 4 ] Pitralon Original A/S Lotion This Razor is probably the nicest of my Schicks to hold, the material and shape of the handle make it so tactile. As a Razor it is not overly aggressive, but the Razor is quite efficient and such a pleasure to use that without any problems a good quality finish is attained.
Williams Wednesday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Williams Mug Shaving Soap Jayaruh #144 Enders Speed Razor Enders Speed Blade CWR Florida Water My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 Brush. I did two passes with the Enders Speed Razor with an Enders Speed Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Looks like a single edge to me, just has one on the opposite side also so that you don't have to rinse the blade as often. Clayton Sent from my LG-K450 using Tapatalk
