    Razor - 1959 (E4) Gillette Fatboy (9)
    Blade - voskhod-teflon-coated.jpg (1)
    Soap - Arko
    Brush - Stirling Finest Badger
    Post - Alum

Down to the final four days so I'll rotate back to the Fatboy. Since it is sort of the poster boy for adjustables I felt it was a good choice. Plus it's just a fine razor no matter how you slice it. No pun intended. Loaded up a fresh Voskhod and grabbed the BoS Omega 10066 which is still my favorite boar. I'll keep working the Semogue 1305 into shape and see how close it gets to this brush. The Arko lather was rich, thick, slick and all around great. Three passes, no cuts, nicks, weepers or any other problem and I am content and happy with another perfect shave. Gotta love the vintage Gillettes. Especially with Russian steel.

Thursday awaits! Go out and make it a great one!

Beautiful shave this morning, its not often that i use creams, but its definitely time i use them more. This boots cool shave cream is super slick stuff and matches soaps in every way, the only downside i can think of is that you need to use quite a lot of it to get enough lather for three passes, but its also quite cheap so thats really not a big deal at all.

Razor: gillette aristocrat 1948 barber pole
    Brush: Wilkinson sword classic shave
    Blade: voshkod (8)
    Cream: boots cool shave cream

  10. 10/30

Mega fast shave this morning. Boiler is on the blink so cold water it was. Oddly enough the soap behaved itself with the cold water. 3 passes of the one pick up.
For some reason, my brush floats if the water is cold (!)

As fast as this was, i have had worse shaves. DFS and no cuts.
    Finished with Arko Gold.

  15. Good Thursday morning to all, and a nice cool 50 degrees it is.
Yesterday was a tough day, building a set is not as easy as it used to be for me. Today ain't gonna be much better, sore most everywhere. Not 40 somthing anymore. Quick 2 pass shave this morning, cleaned up rather nice with the toy and blade combo. Hadn't used this soap for a while but it's very good, and the sent is nice and strong just as I like.
Slick and thick I was done in about 10 ready to strain the old body for another day.
20190829_061113.jpg yea, I seem to get a great shave from the toy razor.... nice.
    Off to the (rat) races.
    All
    Enjoy

    Good morning!

Terrific shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS with silent alum.

We have been working 12 hour shifts this week. We don't know yet if we will get the long holiday weekend. They will make that decision today. Fingers crossed.

    Have a great day![IMG]
