  8. you are using cade hard soap?..if you are then ditch it for a known better one to finish off your focus /rule..keep the brush going..a good soap will lather with a paintbrush..great progress so far..
  9. To me, a computer upgrade means the company made a mistake with the last one,, thus they need to try again. To be fair, that statement applies to ANY company upgrading ANY of its material.

IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT.

  10. I know you may not like this answer, but you need to bloom the soap. If you do that, then you will see why blooming the soap is an important method to wet shavers. I know that you are against blooming, but try it, you don't have anything to lose, but maybe your anti-blooming philosophy. Lol!
  11. Thank you Danny

  19. In the spirit of trying to be helpful I felt I must comment. I have the L'Occitane Cade shave soap and have had great success with using the soap. Your complaints about the soap are the same type made about MdC. Both soaps are very easy to get to lather. This is where the problem begins. People do not load enough soap. Make a mess and load the soap like it owes you money and is 60 days past due. Then is the second issue. Proper hydration. With enough product loaded the soap has a wide tolerance of water. In order to get a good slick lather water must be loaded slowly as you lather. Read @Primotenore comments yesterday about MdC. If you load enough product and add water I think you will find that the soap is cable of great performance. In fact, I am moving to hard soaps and Cade is one that will stay in my den. Watch the video in the link below. While it deals with Mystic Water soap which is well know to give people fits, the concept works with all soaps.

  20. Thanks Joe! When I pulled into to work this morning this came on the radio when I was about to get out of the truck. I just sat and listened to this one before going in the building. I though about Chris @Bama Samurai coming home to Alabama, Clint @clint64 having a quiet weekend and the rest of us having a long weekend! Let the good times roll ! ! ! !
