To say that we got a little rain today - is like saying the sun is a little bright. The monsoon season returned for a day with over 3" of rain in most places where I was trying to work. I'm still hearing it beating on the car even though I'm inside at my desk. that noise in my head may be there all night. It was a warm rain, huge drops, in torrents. Thought it might be an inland hurricane except the wind never got going. I'm dried out now and feeling relaxed and warm again. The Toggle came out for another shave using the same Voskie as the Fatty had in it. Third shave on the blade and it was simply perfect. The Wolf custom brush made for an elegant lather with the Arko and all's well and good after three great passes. Now, as long as the house doesn't float away as the rain continues all will be well.

One more day to go!! SEptember will be up later tonight for you impatient types. Have a great Saturday!!

Did anyone notice the earth shake at 2:31 pm today? @Paul Turner posted a very quick post that included the word "blooming"......and you wonder why it shook the world? It was the new record breaker for this thread. That was post #7872 for the month, and that broke the previous record of 7871 that was set in March. Looks like we'll pass 8000 for the first time ever before morning. Great month everyone!!! Let's keep it going through tomorrow as we get ready for SEptember!!

 

There were stronger aftershocks with controversial posts on blooming that I thought my phone would crash. I admit that I was partially responsible. Lol!

 

Alrighty then. August is a RECORD BREAKER and we have another whole day left. However if you are around the globe or just too impatient to wait.....HERE IS SEPTEMBER!!!
