The monsoon season returned for a day with over 3" of rain in most places where I was trying to work. I'm still hearing it beating on the car even though I'm inside at my desk. that noise in my head may be there all night. It was a warm rain, huge drops, in torrents. Thought it might be an inland hurricane except the wind never got going. I'm dried out now and feeling relaxed and warm again. The Toggle came out for another shave using the same Voskie as the Fatty had in it. Third shave on the blade and it was simply perfect. The Wolf custom brush made for an elegant lather with the Arko and all's well and good after three great passes. Now, as long as the house doesn't float away as the rain continues all will be well. One more day to go!! SEptember will be up later tonight for you impatient types. Have a great Saturday!!

Saturday Straights' Shave Cold Water Rinse Proraso Sandalwood Jayaruh #144 Rocket 5/8 CWR Florida Water My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 Brush. I did two passes with the Rocket 5/8 razor and a clean up pass with my new TNNSER 3D razor and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Florida Water.
