This razor really is deceptive, it's a must have for all you mild razor lovers out there imo.
Personally I prefer a bit of blade feel but this is a keeper.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 Brush. I did two passes with the 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher razor with a Vintage Gem Cutlery SE Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Summer here is drawing to a close very soon and what a beautiful summer it was!

Here’s my first SOTD for September:

A shave fit for a king - the new Shark blade ate up all my rough stubble with incredible ease and my man Jaco’s Rooibos soap gave me a thick, delicious smelling lather which two guys could have shaved with as well as wonderful, soothing postshave care. My other dear friend Dave’s balm is so fabulous - just a small amount is needed and your face feels great. I splashed on some Proraso Red and that scent is to die for. Three passes did me just beautifully!

Blade test re-started: today... the Nacet.
A curious feeling. unlike the SOC's I felt it was cutting and its cricket song, very mild and efficient, but left me... unsatisfied.
First time, though: it must be tested again.
I decided to choose random gears as I am not patient enough to marry a specific blade to a specific razor!
