Doing just a little better than treading water here. Only 136 post from Real Time.
I'm not sure if we can discuss penals here. Is this to do with Bill @Edison Carter again? Maybe if I looked up Willie Enforcement...
I prefer to take the Long View.

3 pass DFS+. No image day. Early morning shave, just getting to post. Couple of very tiny weepers. New blade and hadn’t used the Streamline in a long while. Corners of the mouth. Didn’t take away from the shave at all. Everything just worked very nicely, great AoS slick and aromatic cream, Jason’s handle with the Omega boar knot a joy to whip enough up for 5 passes (yeah, overloaded it a lot). The ER Streamline is almost a no brainer to achieve DFS or better. The blade angle and size very natural for me. One of the few razors that I can get the always troublesome lower right neck area DFS+ smooth.

The AoS O&P is a relatively new fragrance, and the just added the matching balm recently. Wifey bought me several goodies from AoS for our 23rd anniversary. :bounce015:

Looks like everyone had a great day! I’m out til Tuesday AM.....gotta work then travel back to DFW tomorrow. I’m sure I’ll be 500 posts late by then!

Welcome to all the new 30DC’rs!

No, however, consistent exercise helps your body to fight disease by reducing stress and improving your immune system. Generally, allergies are due to your immunne system being sensitive to things in the environment due to your DNA gene expression.

Back to work Monday shave: Loaded a feather in my Joris razor and whipped a bowl of CTAPT Russian cream. This soap is good, but yesterday's Apple Blossom was excellent. A very nice shave ensued. The size of these Russian creams are perfect for travel so in the Dopp kit they go.

Yes, great report, glad your jumping in.
Don't feel pressured to go DEor SE to be here. We need this kinda info from those who are experienced with these razors.
    Thanks!

    Stirling SEptember!!!

    Razor - Kampfe Star
Blade - Gem Stainless PTFE Coated
Soap - Blood on Steel 2019 by Stirling
    Brush - 30DC Meet Up LE w/SynBad
Post - Cold water, pressure, more cold pressure, shame.

Can you tell how that one went by the post shave? When I bought this razor it was an unbelievably low price auction and the condition of the razor is impeccable. Now, there are a couple of different makes of the Kampfe Star. One is easily adapted to modern SE blades. The older model, not so much. I have the older one. It appears that the corners of the blade are against the stops on the razor handle, but here's the problem....the alignment. If you are even the slightest bit off with a modern blade - you get this:

    Bloody Cuts.jpg

That is about a 2 inch cut from the corner of the blade, with some major scrapeage against the goatee on the right side. Sunday, bloody Sunday. The good news - once I got some compression going and got it cleaned up the damage is much less dramatic looking:

    Not so bloody cuts.jpg
I decided that discretion was the greater part of valor and grabbed my New LC that still has a blade in it to finish the pass. And, I called it good with one pass with a CFS and I'm ok with that for now. I checked the blade and discovered that just so slight off center alignment of the blade that put the corner out there to do what it did. I also double checked the position of the blade to make sure it was properly set so that the corners shouldn't be popped up over the stops. Seemed ok other than the alignment. I'm beginning to think that the wisest thing to do is to get the original blade that came with the razor stropped and in working condition and try it as it was intended. I know some have never had much luck with getting a modern blade working in the early models. Stunning razor, though, and I'm thrilled to have it. Even if it bites the hand that rescued it from the Bay. Ungrateful hunk of steel.

On the plus side - I at least chose the correct Stirling soap to start the month. Blood on Steel. Totally and completely appropriate, especially when lathered up with the brush from the meet up as well. Yeah, so I cut myself and bled. This is the 30 DC. I learned something, have a new project to work with (original blade) and, if nothing else, the Czar provided some bloody good entertainment to start the month. You're welcome.
