  1. Had an IT 80 as a kid . Fun bike .
Those factory riders got the best of the best but I do remember Bob Hannah saying the Yamaha shifted like crap back in the day and I had an early 80s YZ 100 that you never knew what gear you were in.

  2. Patrick. Check out some videos of the Triple Speeds. It is an inline three cylinder. There is a video out there of one running about 45 mph and the guy gets into and brings the front wheel up. Keep in mind this is not a crotch rocket. This is a heavy cruiser. I think it has about 140 foot pounds of torque!

  8. Chinese quality has gotten better as they are the best at copying ideas. Im still not sold on their stuff .When I was a kid if it wasn't made in Canada or USA it wasn't coming into our house . My Dad was serious about that too.

  19. When I was in sales, I had a customer my age who was quite a skilled motocrosser in his day. He loved the Honda Elsinore. When Vintage racing started up he was right in it. Had about 4 Elsinores.

I was over his house one day shortly after he picked up a pristine 70's DKW 125 with the leading link forks. It had the original tires, almost no wear. He said he and his buddies had quite a few of em. About 800usd in the dsy, and you couldn't kill them.

He won the only vintage moto he ran it in. Broke his hand on a hard landed drop-off right before the finish. He figured out that vintage gear just can't handle modern tracks that well
