SOTD Tuesday And so begins another month. Hard to believe the summer has flown by so quickly. The fall is my favourite time of the year. Warm days, cool evenings, kids are back in school, and I notice the leave are starting to change colour. Wonderful day for a shave with a lavender shave cream and my reliable Schick.

What a scent, it reminds me a bit of the Monarch, i would put it in the same category for sure. If you like the Monarch and love the smell of Roses, this is one for you! As i have no accompanying Aftershave or EdT (damn those no-alcohol oversees shipping rules) i opted for the light touches of Boss Bottled. Not a great match, we will seek further

Tuesday Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Sandpiper Soap: La Toja Cream Razor: Vintage Gillette Fat Boy Blade: Vintage Gillette Spoiler Super Stainless (19) Brush: Elite Razor/WSP Silvertip-24mmx50mm Aftershave: Anucci Sport EdT WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard) La Toja Cream today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Razor/WSP Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” Super Stainless blade still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Anucci Sport aftershave. Bob
Tabac Tuesday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Tabac Shave Soap Jayaruh #30RS Gillette Sheraton Gillette Silver Blue CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #30RS Brush. I did two passes with the Gillette Sheraton razor with a Gillette Silver Blue Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Tuesday morning: Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Shark day 3 Rondavel Wild Dagga SS Fino ASB Booster Mosswood AS Splash Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui EdT This Rondavel soap was sent to me this past winter and it’s got a nice outdoorsy scent (nothing at all like marijuana!) and thick, rich, creamy lather which stays super stable the whole time. It’s a bit lacking however, in slickness and cushion as well as postshave care so I had to use quite a bit of the Fino balm to fix the dryness I experienced afterwards. It’s still a pretty decent soap otherwise. The Booster Mosswood aftershave is one of my top favorites, much to my wife’s chagrin - she always tells me I smell like an old barber. (I take that as a complement!) Two passes were enough to give me a hell of a nice BBS shave - so no complaints!
