Praying everything is ok. My mom showed the same exact signs, turns out it was a uti. The confusion seemed to persist for over a few weeks. In fact she went to a nursing home by ambulance and walked out 4 weeks later. As a side effect, I think she's less apt to talk to her doctors, i think because she doesn't want to go back to the nursing home.
Hope she gets better. Regarding the insurance, that's old school thinking. Only use what you need and waste not want not. It is an admirable ethos.
16/30 Blade #5. Lovely shave today with no drama. Reversed my shaving passes and seemed to have got a great shave. My neck is an eternal issue and seems impervious to the razor in some spots. Now that the soap and brush are settled i will be working on that area for improvement. I just wish this soap was a touch slicker, especially on the touch ups and residuals. I feel that its tendency to pull (regardless of hydration) is holding back the final results a small bit. I was a bit rushed this morning. I really need to get up earlier! This razor likes a fresh sharp blade. I can get 5 shaves out of a Rapira with other razors, but the 34c doesn't have the profile to assist when the blades dull. Its a great razor though. Lovely size and balance although blade alignment is crap. I find loading the blade cap upside down and squeezing the head closed with fingers and thumb engages the alignment pegs quite well. I can then tighten up the shank and be spot on. 14 shaves to go!
I was trying to learn how to hone using a Jnat, so I was creating a slurry by rubbing two stones together. My woman is came home while I was in the middle of trying to make the slurry and in her charming voice she asked “What are you doing, trying to breed pet rocks?” She can be smart-Alec, but she is my smart-Alec.
Good Wednesday morning to all. Running at breakneck speed today to get out the door. Gotta get me ready then the grandson for school. Got a small weeper on the neck due to just to much speed in the first pass. Running full throttle, tachometer in red, I still got a great 2 by 2 pass shave. The face is smooth, the old gord clean and smooth. Wonderful razor with a new Personna GEM blade. Couldn't ask for better. One more ER flip top and through those little razors. All Enjoy tp
Nice! My neck is what holds me back from getting a true BBS shave. I've gotten a whole lot better. I experimented with different skin stretching, head tilting and shaving faces until I found what works best for me. DFS+ consistently on my neck with no redness or irritation. I'm good with that.

The most infuriating thing is when i think i am good on my neck, check a dozen times, clean up and then out that of nowhere, stubble! I will get there eventually lol.
