Might be a safer route. I'm lobbying for a name change to Bottleneck Ontario. Hope your Mom feels better Rick.
SOTD September 4, 2019 A Stirling SEptember Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap Blade: GEM PTFE Razor: GEM Featherweight Brush: Stirling Kong synthetic Soap: Stirling Dunshire Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Dunshire aftershave Easy and straightforward shave this morning. Wonderful, slick lather that was swiped away easily by the Featherweight. Terrific all around. Enjoy your day!
Great shave, David! The Micromatic is certainly a beast. My will make an appearance sometime this month.
Lots of time left yet . It will all come together for you. Hope you didnt run the mailman over like Dagwood Bumstead did every morning. Jim you're really holding your own in the photo dept. Nice work! That had to be a great shave Perry. The FW gets a bad rap as being mild but with the right blade it really performs.
good morning gents wednesday's shave..first drive with the cooper monobilt..loded the gsb blade ,lathered up the pdp 63 soap..lovely and slick, with the canadian rubberset brush in the edwin jagger shave cup..i would say bowl but i usually soak my boars in it ..too small for much else..first pass..rode the cap and levelled it in .very audible..had a slight wave in the blade i wasn't sure of but no issues..hair be gone..2nd pass went well ..rinsed off and there were some patchy spots.did some pick ups and called it a day.not bad but will take some dialing time.maybe a focus with it ..a dfs was the result, but i was being careful.different feel than the gillettes i am used to flying around with..maybe overthinking it but more research to do..a fine razor so far and 10/10 on the cool factor.clubman whiskey woods aftershave and talc to finish ..awesome..have a fantastic day everyone..
