September 4 SOTD: Razor: Gem Damaskeene Blade: Gem Stainless Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket Lather: Stirling Deep Blue Sea Aftershave: Stirling Deep Blue Sea I met my team a last dinner last night, so it was a bit if late evening. No gym this morning, but I got a great shave with some Deep Blue Sea. Two passes and a DFS. Plus, I the got the SWMBOSOA (©️ @Primotenore). Just a couple of days left at my current job, which is definitely odd. I hope everyone has a great day.
The Damaskeene looks fantastic Jim. It is hard leaving people you've worked with for years. Good luck with the rest of the week.
September 4, 2019 O.R.E.N. with 2 Dot Plate Feather Pro Wild West Brushworks with Tuxedo Mike’s Lavender Fine Lavender Aftershave @Primotenore was right on the Mike's Lavender. This scent is fabulous. Just a straight forward lavender with a hint of a medicinal note. Rubbed the stick on the face and lathered away with no issues or problems at all. Three passes, touch ups and buffing my lower right neck caught the baby with ease. Fine Lavender aftershave kept the theme going. I am amazed at how good the lavender pairing smells. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
Our parents and grandparents are a very resilient bunch. They grew up in different times and managed with far less. They have life experiences that we will never have. As my Mom and Dad got older and needed more help, I tried my best to look out for them...while also trying to respect their values and beliefs. It's a fine line, and sometimes there were disagreements or frustrations. The roles of children and parents reverse as time passes. Sometimes that meant taking Mom and Dad to see the doctor before a situation got out of hand, even when they weren't 100% on board. My parents did this for (to ) me when I was a child and needed help to make the best decision. I think that's what @RyX means. He's a great son, and Mom and Dad are fortunate to have him around.
Thank you, Patrick! The Featherweight works as well as any of the other GEM razors. Thank you, Jim! Thank you, Jim! Thank you, Clint!
