  6. I feel same about soaps and creams. Why buy a cream when a soap will last much longer?

That leads me to another puzzle for me. If a cream is just a hydrated version of the soap, why do creams perform better (Trumpers is notorious for this)????
Is it a fact that it is purely a matter of hydration, thus, it is just not possible to hydrate the soap properly and to the level you can with a cream (surely not).

  9. You have to cut @Primotenore some slack. He's a neophyte shaver, but he can sing up a storm if you're interested in booking him for a wedding reception or a tractor pull.

  17. Danny, is that you? I knew it! I just took me awhile to remember. We rode together back in 1978! Are you still a brunette?

  18. As a newbie, I, too, had an issue with floppy badgers. I have THE floppiest badger in existence. I learned to get the soap/brush wet and to hold the brush at the BASE of the knot to quasi 'shorten' the loft, while loading. I didn't just assume that a floppy badger was only good for creams. The fact is this. ALL shaving soaps at one time were hard. Most brushes were floppy (probably all), yet somehow they figured out how to get the BLOOMING lather on their faces.
