Another great shave in the books. It's hard to put the Slim away, it has been that good and fun to use.
We are having a fun week getting some 90-day punch list items completed on the house. We had a ground fault one of our electrical circuits, and the electricians located a spot where a nail had been driven straight through the wire. We are very thankful that they identified this problem before it turned into something much worse, like a fire. He's coming back tomorrow morning (when it is cool to be in the attic) to pull a replacement wire for the one that was damaged.
Our fire alarm sounded three times for no reason over the weekend (not related to the wiring issue), and I believe our electrician figured that out for us as well.
I went through my suits and jackets today. These are the ones that I had accumulated during my last few years of work as my weight bounced around. I found a dark suit that I purchased last summer that could wrap around me twice. I donated it, hoping that it would benefit someone in need of a job interview. I have an older dark suit and a Navy jacket that now fit me fine. (I don't wear suits or jackets often, but it's good to know I have a couple that are ready to go.) I have another jacket that nearly fits (one that I really like) and a couple more that could be tailored to fit. I couldn't bear to get rid of them today, but I may eventually.
Sadly, I have no seersucker suits. I hang my head in shame.
When the weather turns cooler and I start wearing long sleeves again to church, I'll go through my dress shirts again. I did this as I was losing weight, but I expect a few more shirts can be donated now. All things considered, I've probably eliminated half the clothes in my closet over the past year. I just don't need that many clothes in retirement, and it's good to know that I can wear most everything. Another reason to maintain my weight.
I hope you all had a great day!
