Wonderful shave, Joseph! Curious, how does the older Aqua Velva smell compared to the current drug store offering?

@BlueShaver the Superior brand was also owned by ASR and the razor Perry has is simply a Gem JR Bar sold under the Superior brand.

Funny. Parallel worlds. I bought a 3 pack via Amazon a few months back. Some quiet enabling from various 30DC'rs and seeing it listed in their dailies. Rose aroma. Liked it, set it on the bathroom counter to use every now and then.

I have no clue now (well, I won't go venture, lest I pull back a nub) where these 3 bottles are. But I know when a refill is needed, I'll be the first to know....

I hold most of my razors using the fingertips especially the SE's like these. This one is so short I can't get a good ballance on the head.

(The point being that to load the hard puck, perhaps you should bloom the soap, something that @Primotenore is a particular champion of.....)
