I don’t add it to Thayer’s either since it has aloe. The Dickinson has nothing but witch hazel and alcohol.

Fantastic lineup and photo Andrew. Is the Gillette Winner a less expensive version of the 7 o’clock black? Just curious since the my are both Indian made.

I think the Winner is meant to be a Gillette only branded version of the Gillette Wilkinson Sword. Interestingly the Gillette 7 O'Clock Permasharp Stainless (Green pack from India) is the same price but I think it is a slightly sharper blade. Now days you can pick up the 7 O'Clock black for less then $15 per hundred on eBay, so you aren't really saving that much. I'm just having fun trying some lesser known blades.

Nice shave Terry. Check the thread size on the handle. If it is 10-32 then go to the hardware store and pick up a 10-32 set screw about a half an inch long. Then add any handle you want. A larger handle on the shovel head is a winner and you will thank me.

Still doing edge maintenance test on the Barbers Bride. A few laps on .1 micron cBN pasted nanocloth every 5 shaves or so. I'm not even counting anymore. This could go a while.

No more Troll-feeding for me. Promise.
Plopped a brand-new Feather blade into my second AS-D2 razor.
Whipped up such copious, creamy, slick, shiny lather with the AoS. Boom.
Enough lather for 5 passes.
The AS-D2 has a small angle-opening. Therefore, it takes some practice to find and keep it.
Once you do, it'll cut down any stubble-anywhere.
BBS+ shave. Is that even possible??
"Poppycock" says I to those who say this razor is too mild.
Finished the Aqua Velva today.

So in the name of snurdle dippers and shaving science, today I combined a pea sized sample of Proraso green with my Stirling Frankensoap made up of South Padre and I forget what else.
Loaded the synthetic brush once and face lathered . 2 passes as ways .Was enough left in brush to get probably 2 more passes.
Did a quick witch hazel cleanup on the jawline and wiped away the remains . This concoction left me with a fresh cool feeling on my skin and a nice soft feel as well.
Yesterday I mentioned I would bust out the Clog Pruf so I added a new Gem SS blade and if the shave was any closer I would have skinned myself alive.
May throw a splash of Skin Bracer original on later just for kicks.

View attachment 204191 Another good shave with the E3 this morning. Pulled out the Coniferous for the daily Stirling focus product. I don't use this soap very often, but I like it when I do. Everything worked as it should and I had a pleasant 3 pass'er.
Pairing the Mountain Rain with Coniferous? Leaving the house, I smelled like I had chainsawed my way to the vehicle...in a rainstorm.

I load my WTP Lime Burst from the puck with a brush and then build the lather in a bowl. No problems....awesome lather and no need to bl*#m.

3 pass DFS+. Landing nick in the nose/lip area, was looking at spine of the razor (angle), blade touched down.....not a distraction from the shave, just a mention. Nice Stirling lather, slick and super aromatic whipped up by Jason's handle with the Omega knot. This knot is slightly floppy compared to my other boars, so I overloaded, then used much more water than thought necessary. Lather was bowl beaten and whipped like a dirty doormat...turned out awesome. The J3Customs Kami, all business, barely audible while doing its job. 1st pass, just a smidgeon edgy, but I'm beginning to notice that with every razor....be it straight or kami. Just my facial hair, and to a lesser degree, skin type I believe. Pass 2 & 3 (or right jawline/neck buffing) was buttery smooth. Followed with the matching AS, little feedback, landing nick sealed. Love this scent! Catch whiffs of it all day long usually. Excellent face feel continues hours after shaving.
