    Thanks Danny! I know less pressure gives better results when straightshaving and I have a light touch when safety shaving as well. However, today I wanted to experiment and tweak the pressure. Well, even with a lighter than usual light touch, the Slim still performed well. Conclusion: My pressure was still a little too much and that going still lighter gave me a nice shave. It also pays to perform minor tweaks in your technique to get better results.

    And now.....it's time once again for......the FRIDAY FILES-brought to you by me.

    -It's beginning to feel like a Colorado summer(spefically Rocky Mtn. Nat'l Park). The mornings are getting chillier, but the days are still warm. I'm bringing a couple(but not all)of the fall/winter group up to the front of the den to mix in with the spring/summer group.

    -So pleased to make it to over 100,000 likes in here! Major goal, for certain.

    -Received my Williamsport(PA) Bowman Barber magazine. I'm thinking about putting a package order together, including a hairbrush(classier than my current one from Ace Hardware), my next Stephan Bay Rum(A.S.)and possibly an Osage Rub(if it's a better price than that on Clubmanline. com).I HOPE the shipping stays the same ridiculous amount so I can get what I pay for, so to speak. I'm in no hurry to set it up, though.

    good morning gentlemen,friday shave..quick and simple lime ..new rfb/7 oclock green,rr bruce brush,rr lime soap and essential oil of lime splash..fantastic dfs+ shave in 2 combination passes and pick ups..soap was great,all is good..have a great friday everyone..
