    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Shark day 7
    Gilly’s Unforgettable SS
    Prep ASB
    Black Garter Cologne

I knew this would happen - the Shark blade died, and I mean DIED. It’s an absolute fluke that it held up for three passes but there’s no way it’ll even cut butter now so I threw it out and I’ll use a new one tomorrow. These South African soaps I have are all magnificent - the Unforgettable from Gilly has a beautiful bay rum scent, the lather is so rich as well as slick, and it leaves a great postshave feeling. The Prep’s cooling sensation and moisturizing felt heavenly after this shave. The Black Garter cologne has a scent which I find delightful because it’s so old school - in fact it was used in barbershops a long time ago. Although I had to work hard for it I had a terrific BBS shave!

    Cold Water Rinse
    Colgate Mug Shave Soap
    Jayaruh #30RS
    Lee Mfg. 5/8
    CWR
    Barbasol AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Colgate Mug Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #30RS Brush. I did two passes with the Lee Mfg. 5/8 razor and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

My earlier post in the 30DC thread:

The NO75 first hit my radar in May. That iteration had a matte finish and black anodized aluminum baseplate. Positive reviews but I couldn't warm to the look. This polished version was too shiny to pass up. It's advertised as a limited edition, not sure how limited it'll be. It came with a nylon washer between the baseplate and handle. When I unboxed it I thought that was a great idea but I would need to be careful not to lose it. Yeah, I already lost it. Must've gone down the drain when cleaning up after my shave. The razor locks down fine without it.

The shave was super smooth. The neutral exposure feels as if I would have to try and cut myself to draw blood. Just a terrific first shave.

the washer was probably there so as not to mark it during shipping and such..looks gorgeous..is it polished stainless?

    Thanks, Gary.
It's polished stainless. I believe Aji polishes each razor himself.
