Sorry for my absence over the last few days, but was in NYC with the bride. Saw Betelgeuse and Hadestown. Shaved this morning with the new AS-D2 with a feather blade coupled with Feather Shave Gel. Great 3 pass shave. Finished with Pre de Provence Balm and 888 Aftershave. Will post pix when I return home. Enjoy your shaves, Jeff
It has been a no shave day for me, just too much going on around the house. Tomorrow, I catch a plane up to Vancouver for a conference. It will be a very early start as my plane leaves at 7:30. I will be out of the house by 4:00. I hope everyone has had a great day.
We had over 250 gigs of family photos, so we use SmugMug to have a backup of photos in the cloud. I just use it for my SOTD photos.

Sept 7 Good evening guys! Gillette Slim N-4 (9) Rockwell DE (3) Semogue OC Super Badger Stirling Bay Rum SS and AS Nivea Men ASB (not pictured) I used my Semogue to facelather the Stirling Bay Rum. I made the lather wetter than usual and added a little more soap. Still not to my usual standard, but I went with it and still got an excellent BBS without irritation in 2.5 passes. Got one tiny weeper at the left corner of my mouth, but it disappeared without my help. I just love this scent. Finished with the matching aftershave and followed with the Nivea Men's aftershave balm. I survived one week of shaves without using my shavette or my straights. So far, I haven't experienced any deprivation syndrome. Lol! Have a wonderful evening guys!
