It is a knock off of the Feather Artist Club razors and uses the same blades. https://www.maggardrazors.com/produ...yle-shavette-uses-feather-artist-club-blades/ It is a nice razor, and it may have to make an appearance this month.
Thats because your a good man! Unlike SOME around here..... I also really like the IH logo. As a younger man I spent more then a few hours on some of those.
SEptember 8th Razor: H&S NO75 LE Blade: Feather NHS (2) Brush: Grizzly Bay PureMagic/Maggards SHD bulb Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated Soap: B&M Fougére Angelique PAA Galactic witch hazel Stirling unscented post shave balm AS: B&M Fougére Angelique Good morning! Awesome shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Silent alum. Second use of the NO75 and I am thoroughly impressed! Smoooooth! Easy easy razor to use. Very happy with this addition to the rotation. Fougére Angelique is a sweet and tart lemon lime scent. Very nice. Something I noticed yesterday was how thick and sticky the lather started off and how much water it took to properly hydrate. Is this the Reserve base? Back in the closet to compare ingredients. The Reserve has a few more ingredients listed at the very end but they are identical up to that point. The Excelsior ingredients list is quite a bit different. A non Reserve soap with the Reserve base? Looks that way to me. No complaints, just surprised. Have a great Sunday!
It is actually GZD Berber from Turkey. A member across the street sent it to me. Veddy nice soap. Yes I did a video. Broke out the ever classy Schick F.
SEptember Jabonman Mediterráneo~~Simpson Emperor~~Feather ACS-RSW~~Old Spice Shavette #2 Today was my second outing with the Feather. Same Super Professional Blade, same extreme edge. One awkward set-down reminded me who's boss. The Jabonman soap is a winner. It's soft enough that a well-soaked brush; barely---if at all, shaken out, will create an outstanding lather. Hardly a need to add H2O, but I did add just a tad. The Feather angle is rather narrow, as opposed to my straights, so it's important to find---and keep it. I did and except for the ouchy, achieved a DFS in two passes. The Old Spice Lime is my next "Titanic" AS, so you will see it probably for the next 6-7 shaves. Again, don't panic, Primo has a full bottle of the "frosted" waiting to take its place. The pairing worked out quite well and seeing we're in for three 90˚ days this week, I believe this entire set-up will be thrice repeated.
Yes, it is! I believe in using all my razors in my den. I mostly headshave with my adjustables, but it is nice to face shave with them. I am looking to get back to using my straights next month.
