Yankees are ok. It’s the Damn Yankees we don’t like. A Yankee is a northerner who moves or visits because they like the place A Damn Yankee is one who moves and tells everyone that it was better where they came from. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a coworker from California that was always talking about how this and that were better in California. I got tired of it one day and reminded him that U-Hauls could be rented one way and just go back where he came from. If he still complains about Colorado it's not around me.
I would be the Yankee...........I'm a research freak when it comes to tourism.....People like me would be CERTAIN that moving somewhere is because we're tired and up;set with where we are now.(I should add......"and because our choice of new location would be much better for us").
I've lived in California for a year(schoolyear to be exact)and visited Colorado during parts of many summers. Maybe I need to be in Colorado for a year, to judge better, or to visit California for a year NOW(as opposed to being in 2nd-grade). But BOTH are better than the Boston area. that's for sure. I'm just lucky to live 22 miles west of Boston, where the atmosphere is more "California/Colorado" than Boston.
SOTD Stirling September 9th Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap Timeless Bronze OC Gillette 7 O'Clock SharpEdge(yellow) Yaqi Mysterious Space (24mm, Frigate Class) Stirling 2019 Dirty South Shavers soap and AS Lovely shave this morning with Stirling Dirty South Shavers set. Like Perry @PLAla said it is a light clean cologne type scent. It's kinda hard to describe this one, is almost like a mix of Ramblin Man and Dunshire. It's very different then all of the other cologne dupes in the Stirling lineup and I quite like it! Took my time this morning to really build up a super goop lather and when I painted it on it was so wet that it was almost drippy. I found a little more blade feel and less smoothness with the Timeless Bronze OC. It was a nice shave but it really didn't have that wow factor like the closed comb. Three passes brought home the baby with ease and I finished with a healthy splash of the matching AS. Have a great day my friends! Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
Wonderful photo and post, Andrew! I agree that's it quite a different scent. A little sweet. It reminds me a lot of Country Club for Men Modern Fougere, but I know that doesn't help you guys since he closed shop. Anyway, great shave!
Oh boy....somebody help me from making a purchase that will literally last the rest of my life(and my nephew or future step-son gets the rest). From Wlliamsport Barber(y'know, the guys who charge a lot for shipping): :Buy One Gallon Of Stephan Bay Rum A.S., Get A 15-oz. for Free. Tempting, but........................I just dunno. Total cost $29.50 + the shipping. I have until next Monday to decide. Well, my brain now has a big thing on its "mind" for the week. Yikes. By the way, I say "future step-son" for whenever I get married, and if she has a son already.
