    Wow Dale ! Thats a beautiful pic . Glad you made the trek safely. Takes alot of will and endurance to complete such a journey. After 2 kms on my bike I'm winded . Did you have any mechanical problems or did the bike hold up ok?

    Thanks. I have been riding off and on for the last 30 years. When I got back on the bike in late April, I was winded after a mile. It just comes down to managing discomfort and keeping yourself fed and hydrated. I had no mechanical issues with it thankfully. I did a full tune on my bike before I went. Loaded down, the bike was just over 55lbs. Heres Cecil at the finish line.

    I missed something along the way......apologies, just point me to the post if you outlined this before. Was this a supported (paid) ride? Group ride? Or, just Out 'n Back (alone)? Hard to tell from your bike image (awesome setup and rig!), did you tent it? CC it (hotels)? Any way you look at it, I'm jealous. Very cool.
