I loaded the lather a bit heavier and it made a giant difference. Gotta say that this soap needs extra loading time and go light on the water and it will come out top-notch. Really liked the shave. I forgot to change the blade, so it ended up with a 10th shave on the blade and it went perfectly.
Stirling SEptember!!! September 9 Razor - Gem 1914 Blade - CVS Carbon SE Soap - Stirling Iced Pineapple Brush - Jayaruh #312 Post - Alum Happy Menthol Monday! Grabbed the Stirling Iced Pineapple to cool things down after a day in the mid 90's in the Lou. Yep, it's still summer here. The Gem 1914 and CVS Carbon did a fantastic smooth if noisy job with the Stirling leading the way. Three full passes, took my time to enjoy the scent of the soap and just try and relax. Perfect finish to a perfect shave. Still working on catching up but once again it looks like a great day around here. Keep it coming!
