One more day with the GEM. Everything worked as it should and I had a fine 3 pass shave. Just a little left on my lower neck stopped me from being completely smooth. Paired the Arkadia with this soap, and that was a good decision too.
It doesn’t show so well in the pic, but the donut hole is getting a little wider (slowly):

  13. Not one in the past 30 months, Jim. I used a brush and soap for the last 8 or so years of my cart days and finished off a puck at a time and then went on to the next one.
I’ve finished off Stirling samples and did pitch a few remnants out, but this and the Sudsy Soapery will be my first from beginning to nothing since converting to safety razors.
  14. Good job, Paul.

  17. The curve is a little tight...for face shaving. I don't want to hear about any manscaping.
It's good stuff, though I've never been a fan of bell peppers. Like Chicago style pizza, they've made this sandwich their own. Quite a few shops offer it.
There is an expansion rack that does the double stack effect. I'm looking through my bookmarks now... The idea is to hang in the optimal knot down drying position and take up less space. Being a display of conspicuous brush possession is a cool side effect.

  18. We are never too old to learn are we Paul? Great report.

    Another beautiful pic Mark!

    Nice FW. Mines beige.

    Awesome setup Gary!

Hmmm. I'd say 4 more years of shaving left in that dish Jason.
  19. thank you Patrick,have a great day..how's the roof..

  20. Thanks Terry! Some folks are of the opinion that they are a gimmick or a fix for a nonexistent problem. The scything angle can be done with a regular DE. As a type of blade holder they do apply a different bend - not just curved but torqued, too.
