Good to see some love for the 1914 and the carbon blades . Carbon gets a bad rap it seems .

Oh my my....so without taking up any extra counter space, I can go from 8 brush rotation to 16 brush rotation. I’m assimilated. I do believe you have won the week’s Enabling Trophy Rick. 8 brushes in one post. :signs107:

Another great shave tonight. No tangles on the horse knot....must have been made from the mane and not the tail. I usually use the BoS when I shave with something dangerous where there is a chance of it living up to its name but I picked the pushbutton as I know I will get a great shave from it every time. With the BoS I rarely use an AS as the scent stays behind and I dont find the need for more scent. Tomorrow is Williams Wednesday btw . Just a friendly reminder since @wchnu is probably busy tonight and wont get the chance to do so. Have a great evening gents.

Hoping I caught everyone’s post. If not, sleepy user error. Thanks all for the kind words on today’s shave.

And, just went through 250ish posts on everyone’s shave as well. Fine images, neat gear, lots of Stirling and SE love today. Great reading and ogling. :git:

Thanks to Fuzzy @wchnu I got the whole carbon thing down. I always liked using the Treet Black Beauty's for DE, but they tended to rust pretty quick. I kept trying to do alcohol dips etc. With the carbon SE blades I just remove them from the razor, pat them dry with a towel and leave them out of the razor until the next shave. They last nearly like stainless. I love the extra volume they add to the shave and they are just as smooth as a stainless as well. Again, it's all about technique.

If you are referring to the cone of silence, I think they loaned it to some guy in Kentucky.

    Thank you Joe.

I have a few carbons Fuzzy sent me . They seem scarce compared to SS. I save these for special occasions as I dont want to run out of them.
Yes Bill. The cone thingy. I wondered what happened to it. Was going to make a request to HQ under the right to information act to see where it went but I got buried in the paperwork they sent me to fill out. Was worse than writing essays in school. I just gave up on it and made paper airplanes instead.

Missed some of these great shaves earlier...probably too busy trying not to start a tire fire:

Very nice, Perry. Your Clint inspires pics are going very well.
Sounds like the Duke isn’t in the same class as the bigger CH2 or Thaters, Clint. We need Shavemac to get their act together on a good Synthetic.
What a Kami, Blair! Looks like a ‘prison shiv’ from @Keithmax ...
Love the Greys in that photo, Danny. Very cool.
Wow, another stunning use of colour Gary! Your last couple of pics are just outstanding.
Great soap, great scent, great combo, Blair!
You’ve inspired me to pull the Spicy out soon, Rick. I forget about it sometimes.
    Very nice, Joe.
You don’t see the soap as much as when it first came out... reminded me of a Tiki Torch, but an awesome lather.
Very cool, Patrick. I’ll pass on WW, though...

Thank you Jason. You could always scent it with something musky or mossy smelling. Husqvarna mixing oil perhaps .
